If you're like me, you have folders to keep your bookmarks good and organized, but all they succeed in doing is giving you multiple places to dump bookmarks you save and then never look at again. When those bookmark folders and their contents finally get so out of control that you're ready to clean them out, you're left with the possibility of clicking each one individually to see if the site you meant to save is still around or has long since vanished off the face of the Web.

Last week Paste declared their 25 Documentaries of the Decade. To be honest it was a bit of a disappointingly obvious list, in terms of safely including most of the biggest docs of the decade. Every film on their list is a great documentary but there were also a great amount of other films that possibly should have seen a mention.

in 1979, The B-52's released their first single in the U.K., "Rock Lobster". It was backed by an instrumental version of "Running Around". The A side appeared on their self-titled debut album. The B side, as an instrumental, did not. The single reached the #37 spot on the U.K. singles chart.

As dusk falls, my husband and I gravitate toward the garden. We can usually be found lounging in our hammock, sharing dinner with friends, or just enjoying an evening stroll. Amanda Palmer of The Dresden Dolls and solo fame is definately a self-promoter.  But what sets her apart and makes her efforts effective is that she seemingly does it effortlessly.  By letting the world into her life via blog posts, Twitter, web casts, etc and doing it with playful and rebelous tone, she has made herself worth paying attention to and supporting.  The music's not half bad either.
